1.WATERPROOF MEMBRANE
Ordinary asphalt waterproof membrane is made of asphalt , divided into two types: reinforcement membrane and no-reinforcement membrane . As a traditional waterproof material ,asphalt felt has many advantages: sufficent supply , lower price, mature construction technology. That can satisfy common waterproof needs of buildings. But this kind material has many disadvantages: performing poorly in high and low temperature , tensile strength and ageing resistance . Especially when it is used in exposed waterproof engineering .

Polymer modified asphalt waterproof membrane is based on fiber fabric , covered with polymer modified asphalt . Polymer improves the performance of ageing resistance and wear resistance . It extend the service life of asphalt .The modified asphalt menbrane widely used in roofs and undergound waterproofing .
1) SBS MODIFIED ASPHALT WATERPROOF MEMBRANE
Adding SBS into asphalt ,we get the SBS modified asphalt waterproof membrane. SBS is a modifier that is widely used in the world. SBS has high elasticity and tensile strength .It is also difficult to deform. SBS can extent service life of asphalt and improve performance of crack resistance. At the same time ,it remains the adhesive property.
2) APP ASPHALT MODIFIED WATERPROOF MEMBRANE
APP asphalt modified waterproof menbrane refers to using APP plastic material as a modifier for asphalt . APP can improve softening point, extensibility and ageing resistance of asphalt . Colorful membrane can be produced .
2. WATERPROOF COATING
2.1 ASPHALT BASED WATERPROOF COATING
Asphalt based waterproof coating is mainly water-emulsion type . Mixer strongly stirred the solution which contains asphalt and emulsifier then we get the asphalt based waterproof coating . Because the asphalt isn’t modified , it has poor low-temperature performance and crack resistance . So its consumption is decreasing .
2.2 POLYMER MODIFIED ASPHALT WATERPROOF COATING
The coating is usually made by asphalt and modifier(reclaimed rubber ,synthetic rubber ,SBS or resin) . The coating performs well at low and high temperature. Modifier improve its adhesive peformance and ageing resistance. It is widely used for roofs ,grounds and toilets.
