Ⅰ. Application Scope:
Elastomeric SBS modified bituminous waterproof membrane has good low temperature flexibility and is suitable for waterproof programs of roofs, rooms, bridges and culverts, underground, etc. of various structural buildings in areas with relatively low temperature (especially in the northeast area).
Ⅱ. Construction method
1. hot-melt construction method
Using a special spray gun with flame to melt SBS waterproofing membrane surface soluble to melt state to do hot melt adhesive shop.
1.1 specific instructions
The hot-melt method is a method of heating and melting a portion of the cementitious material covered on the surface of a coil with a heater to firmly bond the coil to the base surface. During construction, the coil bonding surface is baked with a heater to melt the coated coil, When the coating film melts and becomes black and bright and forms melting layer, we can push the coil, paste ,roll and stick it to the extent of extrusion of soluble out of the edge of the membrane.
1.2 Attention
During the construction of hot melt method, the heater should be at soft flame and pay attention to the move speed of heater and the paving speed of membrane, to make sure the temperature of the melted bottom hot melt adhesive between 200-230 ℃, shall not exceed 250 ℃, avoid slow fire baking or use strong fire baking in a fixed place, to roast and damage tire base , should make the coil in the non-injured state and use the best paste method.
1.3 Closing of seams
After the coil is bonded, using a heated metal wipe board to compact the seams to deal with a torch lap seam , heating temperature of wipe board should be according to the standard of non-stick of asphalt mixture.
2. Waterproof construction details
2.1 Sticking order of waterproofing membrane
About waterproof membrane paving, we must firstly consider the consistency with the flow of water, when the roof slope is less than 3% ,waterproofing membrane should be laid parallel to the roof, when the roof slope greater than 15% or vibration roofing, waterproofing membrane should be laid perpendicular to roof. When constructs Multi-layered coils , lap seam of the upper and lower layer membrane should be staggered 1/3 ~ 1/2 width, the upper and lower coils should not be vertical pasted.
2.2 Construction details
Inner and outer corners should be wiped into circular arc, add additional enhancement layer at Inner and outer corners before laying membrane.
2.3 Process of deformation expansion joints
For waterproof process of same height or not same height deformation across the seam, the specific practice is filled the deformed seam with polystyrene foam board, and add additional reinforcement layer under the same height deformation seam.
2.4 Process of Drainage holes and vent holes
Waterproofing process of drainage holes and vent holes is essential , you must follow the construction shown in the construction operation.
2.5 Process of seams
The overlap of the membrane must be evenly spilled over the modified bitumen, use trowel or wipe board to flatten it before it is cool, seal the edges, and use a heater to roast evenly and carefully along the seam to ensure construction quality.
Ⅲ. Acceptance criteria
Technical quality requirements: In order to ensure the quality of waterproofing construction, quality control should be carried out from both materials and construction aspects.
1. Material inspection
Approved materials with factory certificate, product permits and inspection sheet, not up to quality standards are not allowed for construction.
2. Inspection ,acceptance and protection
In order to speed up the progress of the project and accept the supervision of Party A and supervisor, Party B QC department shall carry out stage-by-stage self-inspection on the construction project and promptly do quality supervision together with Party A and supervisor, fill in the declaration and inspection report, sign the acceptance opinion, deliver qualified product to Party A ,and carry out finished product protection and post-construction work.
