 I.the construction preparation

1 main material: SBS modified asphalt waterproofing membrane

2 auxiliary materials: base treatment agent ( emulsified asphalt ), liquefied gas.

3 construction machines and tools: spray gun ( hot melt coiled material ), rounded iron float ( heat auxiliary tool ), hose, liquefied gas tank ( storing liquefied gas ), flat-bottomed rubber shoes ( worn by the builder to avoid damaging coiled material ), long-handled brush ( brushing emulsified asphalt ), gloves ( labor protection articles ), tape measure ( measuring coil size )

4 safety tools: site construction personnel must wear safety tools such as safety helmets.

II. technical disclosure

The construction quality of the previous working procedure shall be checked and accepted before the waterproof project is constructed. the two parties ( civil engineering and waterproof ) shall complete the handover procedures and concealed engineering records, and the waterproof project can be constructed only after the quality of the previous work is qualified.

1. it is required that the waterproof base surface be dry, hard, firm, free from hollowing, sand, cracks, looseness, ash falling and uneven defects.

2 it is required that the surface be smooth and free of accumulated water, and that the drainage slope conform to the design requirements.

3 if there is any defect or water accumulation in the waterproof base, it must be repaired and cleaned, and waterproof construction can only be carried out after it is qualified.

III. construction technology

1 key points of construction operation

1.1 besmear brushs grassroots adhesive thickness should be uniform, can not have leakage brush accumulation phenomenon.

2.2 after the treatment agent at the grassroots level is dried, the parts needing additional layers shall be treated according to the design requirements.

2.3 after determining the sequence and direction of laying the coil, the coil shall be laid. the bonding of different parts of the coil shall be carried out according to the following requirements: the laying sequence shall be first high span and then low span, and the same height shall be difficult first and easy later, first far and then near, and the same plane shall be laid from the lower position. 

2.4 bonding method: bake the bottom surface and the base surface of the coil with a spray gun to melt the asphalt on the surface of the coil, roll the coil forward while baking, and then use your feet to be steady.The temperature at which the asphalt on the surface of the coiled material melts is between 200 and 300 deg C. do not bake through the coiled material.

2.5 coil lap construction according to the following requirements

2.5.1 during the construction of full adhesion method, the lap width of long and short sides shall not be less than 80 mm, and the horizontal and vertical sides shall be more than 120 mm. careful operation shall be carried out. both ends of the coil shall be fully bonded and an asphalt strip shall be formed at the side.

2.5.2 when the short side of the coiled material with slate is overlapped, it is necessary to remove the slate slice layer. the method is to scrape off the slate slice portion with a float after heating with a spray gun.

2.5.3 after the shop is stuck, the overlapping parts, ends and coil ends shall be sealed and then smoothed.The method is to use a spray gun to bake the exposed edge and then use a float to wipe out the smooth transition edge.

IV. engineering quality and acceptance

1 material: waterproof materials used in the project must have product certification and testing report, and materials should be selected strictly according to the requirements.

2 after the completion of the waterproof project, there shall be no leakage.

3 waterproof layer structure must comply with the design requirements.

4 waterproof coil shop is stuck direction, lap sequence, lap width, bonding method should comply with the provisions of the bonding point must be strong, tight, can not have buckling, warping and sealing is lax and other defects.

V. protection of finished products

1 after acceptance of the waterproof layer, protective measures should be taken in a timely manner to avoid potential hazards caused by damage.If the secondary construction causes damage to the waterproof layer, the professional waterproof personnel shall be notified in time to repair it. it is strictly prohibited to conceal or not report it.

2 do not wear leather shoes with heels, nails and pattern soles to walk freely on the waterproof layer so as not to damage the waterproof layer.
